What is it? GEAR UP is an early college and career access program that prepares cohorts of students beginning in the 6th grade through high school graduation for post-secondary education.

Career Day celebrations created opportunities for students to explore careers that include the arts, business ownership, broadcast journalism, education, engineering, environment, hospitality, law, media, medical research, medicine, non-profits, politics, science, and sports and so much more.
Speakers at each school shared a wide range of experiences. Students were provided an opportunity to explore career paths and were exposed to the pro's and con's, daily responsibilities, educational requirements, and extraordinary experiences associated with each career.
